Lilian Leung (they/her) is a designer, artist, and community-based researcher based in Port Coquitlam (the unceded territories of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation), whose work is focused on applying thoughtful and considered design solutions to community-centred projects and developing relationships through collaboration.
With over eight years of agency experience, they’ve worked on numerous projects in numerous industries such as film, commerce, non-profit, and academic institutions with local, national, and international businesses and initiatives.
Their current artistic practice circles the topic of identity and belonging through the exploration of new and evolving methods of place-making and place-keeping in virtual reality, trans- and postmedia practices, and interactive documentaries.
Their projects have been recognized through publications and awards and funded and supported by national and provincial grants.
They received their MDes from OCAD University (Digital Futures), their BA at the University of Hertfordshire (Graphic Design), and their Diploma in Graphic Design & Illustration from Capilano University (IDEA).
They are currently open to part-time freelance opportunities.
